Block direct connection to game servers

  • Hi,
I was reading the article about cross network bungee in order to block direct connection to the game servers (https://pufferpanel.readme.io/docs/adding-bungeecord-network-servers#cross-network-bungee), and was wondering one thing. Where it says:
    iptables -A DOCKER ! -i docker0 -s <ip> -p tcp --dport <port> -j DROP
does the <port> option refer to the port of game servers or the bungeecord port? If this is for game servers, is it possible to put a port range here instead of running the IPTables rule for each port individually?

  • Is anyone able to help with this?

  • For multiple port use startport:endport (example 25600:25700) and for the port to use i think it refer to bungee one.

  • We have released a new version of PufferPanel and Scales with an improved installation process and many bug fixes. Please try the latest version and see if it fixes your issues.
