Server Plugin list empty

  • Sup,

    I just switched from Multicraft and actually just look for a simple solution to let my gamemasters easily manage the game servers without learning UNIX.

    After resolving one error after the other from not accessable at all to SSL configuration I'm probably at the last one which says:

    Failed to get plugin information for the selected node, please check your logs (ERR undefined)

    So I have no servers yet running since I just managed to get the panel itself running and now the error appears when clicking on "New server" and the drop down of server plugin is empty, but I know I was able before to select it and then always had the error it could not connect to deamon.

    Debian 8 with apache.

    The log of pufferpanel is empty and pufferd shows nothing about an error:

    [10:43:53] [DEBUG] Checking for updates using https://dl.pufferpanel.com/pufferd/v1.1/version.txt

    The pufferd config is the following:

    {
      "authserver": "https://XXX/oauth2/token/request",
      "infoserver": "https://XXX/oauth2/token/info",
      "authtoken": "XXXXX",
      "forward": "false",
      "console-buffer": "50",
      "web": "127.0.0.1:5656",
      "sftp": "127.0.0.1:5657",
      "update-check": true,
      "serverfolder": "/var/lib/pufferd/servers",
      "templatefolder": "/var/lib/pufferd/templates",
      "datafolder": "/etc/pufferd"
    }

    SSL is fully working and configured to SSL only, the tokens are the same I already checked that, the deamon listens on IPv4 when binding to 127.0.0.1 instead of 0.0.0.0 and the local node ofc appears with a green tick.

    So I'm clueless.

    Thx.

  • I really have to push that after 12 days.. I posted as much info as possible.

  • @anon

    I'm not entirely sure what's causing the problem.
    Are you using LetsEncrypt for SSL by any chance? If you are, there's a workaround for it: https://community.pufferpanel.com/topic/574/i-can-t-communicate-with-the-daemon-pufferd-when-using-https/3

  • @Nystrata I already said I use SSL only and it works just fine? It's just that specicific field that is empty and prevents me from using the panel actually.

  • @anon

    Set the owner of /srv/PufferPanel/logs to www-data. The panel hopefully start showing logs there too.

  • @Nystrata said in Server Plugin list empty:

    /srv/PufferPanel/logs

    Permissions are already set correctly.
