pufferd Server Creation Error

  • Hello!

Got pufferd online however when I try to create a server I get the following error on the server page:

An error occurred while trying to connect to the remote node. Please check that the daemon is running and try again.
An error occurred trying to add a server. ({"error":"Receieved response i(int=500)"} ) [HTTP 500]

And the following error in the pufferd logs:

    [17:17:12] [ERROR] Error handling route
interface conversion: interface is nil, not string

Any ideas how I can fix? Striggling to find any similar issues with helpful replies.

    Thanks,

  • Please update to the latest release and replicate the error.

You should then see logs in the /srv/pufferpanel/logs folder which contains the actual error.

  • So I managed to fix this,

I copied the 'daemon_secret' field from the 'nodes' table of the puffer panel mysql database to the /etc/pufferd/config.json file and replaced the 'authtoken' field with it. I then restarted the service for the changes to take place.

    Enjoy
