ScottStevens wrote at Oct 24 2016 05:23:20 UTC: Hey Pilchard, it looks like the Daemon is running fine. However from what I can tell you haven't accepted the Certificate as valid (hence the Socket.io error). A quick and easy fix is to get a proper certificate from LetsEncrypt and use it instead as it will help avoid this issue in the future. Here's a set of commands you can run to do it (you should be able to copy/paste it as long as you're running Ubuntu):
If you have any issues let me know and I'll be happy to help out. |

ScottStevens wrote at Oct 24 2016 05:23:20 UTC: pilchard2002 Great to hear! You can also use the certificate you have to secure your PufferPanel install (making it use HTTPS) which is strongly suggested. This will enhance security on the site which is important (in my opinion) |

ScottStevens wrote at Oct 24 2016 05:23:20 UTC: pilchard2002 If you stop a server via a plugin/script outside of Scales and PufferPanel then the daemon will automatically start the server back up believing that it crashed. This applies to Minecraft and SRCDS games. Unfortunately for the time being there isn't a CRON-type or schedule-based event manager for PufferPanel so this is the only way to do so. EDIT: Also, if my other post answered your question, please mark it as Solved by clicking the menu (three dots) to the right of my post . |
