myiume wrote at Dec 21 2015 22:44:42 UTC: I've had this happening to me before when the folder I assigned my node to install servers in was not existent. If that's your case, and you use a '/home/servers' for example, but you don't have that directory, use 'mkdir /home/servers' and create it. that should fix your issue. If that's not the case, reply to me and I'll try to help you troubleshoot it :) |

piousminion wrote at Dec 21 2015 22:44:42 UTC: You should know what distro and version you use. :P If for some reason not, read this article. http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/11251.html On ubuntu/debian derivatives you can see if docker is installed with
If not, then chances are the auto-deploy script failed and you'll need to manually install scales via this link. https://scales.readme.io/v0.2.3/docs/manually-installing-scales |

piousminion wrote at Dec 21 2015 22:44:42 UTC: I'm not sure what's going on then, but I highly recommend you follow the directions to manually install scales simply because the auto-deploy script has failed important steps on every system I've run it on. Give that a shot, can't hurt, and let me know how it goes from there. |

piousminion wrote at Dec 21 2015 22:44:42 UTC: Scales, yes, as it's just a directory of files, but there are other steps in the install process such as generating self-signed keys, installing docker, installing nodejs, etc, etc which may have failed. My recommendation is to wipe /srv/scales and manually install it and all it's deps via the previous link. |
