SirCoolness wrote at Apr 21 2016 10:38:49 UTC: ohh i see your problem, your going to need to do a full uninstall of apache before puffer panel works. puffer panel uses nginx, and nginx will not run on a machine with apache. you can do a full uninstall of apache by typing; (do the method im explaining only if your using debian or ubuntu.) sudo apt-get remove apache2 sudo apt-get autoremove after that do a restart of the machine (sudo reboot) |

SirCoolness wrote at Apr 21 2016 10:38:49 UTC: It looks like your using fedora. Fedora does not seem to have a successful install recorded yet. The current operating systems that were tested and working are. Ubuntu 15.10 Ubuntu 14.04 Debian 8.2 Centos 7.1 Try doing a clean install with Centos 7.1 because commands are simaler to fedora. |

puffrfish wrote at Apr 21 2016 10:38:49 UTC: Actually the CentOS 7 default page says Fedora for some reason, so it is possible they are running CentOS. The issue is definitely with the nginx configuration now. The PufferPanel installer puts a pufferpanel.conf file in /etc/nginx/conf.d (on CentOS). If this does not exist, create one by following these instructions, making sure to update the server_name and fastcgi_pass line if needed. http://www.pufferpanel.com/v0.8.6/docs/nginx-configuration |
